This December, for the first time ever, the brewery will be transformed into an extraordinary Christmas festival. Curated by food connoisseur, Ali Dunworth, Guinness Winterfest will play host to foodies who will take up residency at the brewery. They will create festive favourites from sweet treats such as churros with delicious chocolate dip to savoury bubbling cheese toasties – all perfectly paired with a delicious pint of Guinness. As the Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the home to all beer innovation and experimentation, their brewers and beer sommeliers will also create a selection of Mulled Guinness, old-fashioned cocktails and a specially brewed Christmas beer to be enjoyed with the tasty dishes.
Guests can also expect a music and entertainment line-up full to the brim with Christmas feels, programmed by music promoter and Dublin publican, John Mahon. You’ll find live DJs and bands lighting up the stage, bump into up and coming buskers or belt out your own tunes in the Karaoke Caravan. Jazz Connective
– Improvised Music Company (IMC) are connecting the European dots, celebrating contemporary improvisers and how they work and play together at this 2-day festival of creative interplay at Project Arts Centre.
Jazz Connective is based on one of the central tenets of jazz – improvisation, and features musicians from Ireland, France, Finland and the UK coming together, playing, collaborating and sometimes creating completely new music for this once-off, 2-day event.
Jazz Connective is is a collaborative project supported by the Creative Europe – Cooperation Project. It is presented in Dublin by Irish project partners Improvised Music Company (IMC).
